When I began planning my next major drawing, the idea of creating a companion to Atlantis surfaced almost immediately. I knew I wanted to explore another underwater-inspired piece, but one that stood on its own; similar in spirit, yet distinctly different.
Siren of the Sea incorporates marine elements not seen in Atlantis, including starfish, anemones, and more pronounced coral forms. I also worked from a double light source, which made the shadows far more complex and allowed the figure to feel subtly different, as if suspended in that quiet, shifting world beneath the surface.
Unlike Atlantis, Siren of the Sea is only being offered as the original, there will be NO reproduction prints of this piece.
Siren of the Sea is available framed in a black wooden frame with double acid-free mats and archival glass. She was drawn on the highest quality museum quality paper with matching quality ink. Framed the dimensions are 47 1/2" x 29 1/2".
Prints - Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Tyler King Art has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer selected and paid for the photo and then Tyler King Art sent the buyer the correct photograph) it is then considered non-refundable. If a buyer has selected and purchased an incorrect photo, he/she must notify Tyler King Art, before receiving the “incorrect” photograph. Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason. If a mistaken photo is sent to the buyer, as documented on the invoice, Tyler King Art will send the correct photo to the buyer free of charge.
Drawings - If the buyer purchases an original ink drawing it can be returned at the buyers expense. The buyer will be refunded only after inspection of the art and it determined that there has been no damage to the item less any fees associated with the sale. Item must be returned within 10 days of purchase.
